Christian Anderton MRICS


Christian’s background is in capital markets, investment consultancy, and asset management. Most recently, he was a member of the team that overhauled the UK investment strategy at Aviva Investors and led their commitments into Manchester and Cambridge.

Christian’s role within Node gives him full control of the day-to-day UK wide business. Christian has directly traded or invested more than £8bn of UK real estate assets. As a founding client of NODE, Christian can speak first-hand as to the merits of its application and directly associated returns.

Daniel Barker MRICS

Senior Director, Real Estate

Daniel is a Chartered Planning and Development surveyor with 20 years’ experience promoting sites and developing assets across the built environment. He has been involved in over £300m of development projects, from industrial and residential, to hotels and leisure, including the delivery and asset management of Manchester’s first 5-star hotel. 

Early adoption of technology in his professional career has always been a priority. At Node he continues to promote and advocate the application of PropTech across the real estate sector, to reduce carbon emissions, drive down occupational costs and ultimately improve overall asset returns. His detailed knowledge of the development lifecycle enables Daniel to advise how NODE integrates in to early-stage design process for development or adds value in asset repositioning.

Matt Davidson MRICS

Senior Director, Real Estate

Matt is a seasoned professional in property and asset management. With a rich background spanning both client-side work and senior positions at CBRE and Avison Young, Matt has successfully partnered with diverse clients across various property sectors. His expertise lies in executing robust asset strategies, encompassing ESG integration, driving asset performance, smart building implementation, operational cost optimization and enhancing the occupier experience.

At Node Matt leads the London office working with clients embracing technology to gain a competitive edge and enjoy heightened tenant retention rates.

Russ Dobson

Senior Director, Technical Operations

Russ is an accomplished leader with over 15 years of technical experience, excelling at increasing and driving operational excellence. Having an embedded knowledge of connectivity and infrastructure, gained through six years' service in the Royal Corps of Signals (HM Forces), he has spent the past 10 years leading multiple service providers operational and technical departments. 

At Node he is the technical and operational lead responsible for ensuring that the design, deployment, and operational effectiveness of the business are at the forefront of innovation.

Calum Mogridge

Finance Director

Calum holds a BSc in Economics from Bath University and has previous experience as a cost consultant on the £3bn King's Cross Regeneration Scheme, alongside having built and developed an award-winning startup. 

At Node, Calum is responsible for all financial accounting, investment strategy and fund raising, as well leading the company's ESG initiatives, aspirations for B Corp status and supporting the long-term growth plans of the business.
